Meet The Team:

Hope on Fire is made up mostly of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. Below you'll find pictures of a portion of the team and some details about their personal and professional lives.

Chris Lang - Executive Producer / Host Chris developed Hope On Fire with the input of our Broadcast Advisors and many members of the Hope On Fire staff. He was a radio announcer for 2 years while in college and appreciates the chance to do it again! He has a master's degree in business and operated various businesses and ministries. He has recorded several Christian album projects and also enjoys running to stay in shape and sharing his home with his dog "Samson."

Sabine Vatel - Host Sabine has served as an associate pastor for young adults and as a college chaplain. She has a particular burden for the nurture and spiritual formation of leaders. She currently serves as an associate pastor at Forest Lake Church and occasionally teaches Religion classes at the Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences. She lives with her Chihuahua "Zakary" and admits she has a weakness for Twizzlers.

Rick Mann - Host Rick returns to the airwaves after mispronouncing composers' names for four years as a classical radio station announcer in college. Since then, Rick has worked as a high school history and religion teacher, gotten married, had a baby boy (with the help of his wife, Sonia), and currently works as a software developer at Florida Hospital. He is actively involved in church ministry through Christian drama and leading young adult praise & worship.

Randy Magray - Contributing Editor Randy was born and raised in Green Bay Wisconsin with the gift of gab in the forefront of his personality. He is currently employed as a Financial Advisor/Investment Advisor Representative with AIG VALIC. He also helps his wife, Heather, manage their successful interior design company. Free time is spent with Heather and his passion for all things motorcycle, and of course, the Packers!

Loretta Bacchiocchi - Contributing Editor Loretta is an energetic, friendly Italian who actually lived in Rome. She is currently associate professor at Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences where she co-chairs the Health promotion committee. Loretta has a master's degree in nursing and public health and has worked in the ER for many years. She enjoys being outdoors, especially rollerblading, walking, and gardening. Her best talent? Hosting big gatherings at her home!

Lyris Bacchus-Steuber - Contributing Editor Lyris is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and provides excellent insight to our broadcast planning and programs. She has a private practice in the Orlando area and is on staff at the Forest Lake Church. She has a passion for helping families thrive and especially enjoys working with children. In her spare time she enjoys time with her husband, writing, racquetball, meeting new people, traveling and hopes to sky dive one day.

Gregg Cain - Contributing Editor Gregg has been a pastor for more than 12 years with a counseling background, directing family ministry programs at the Forest Lake Church and Intimate Life Ministries in Austin, Texas. He now teaches at Forest Lake Academy (a Christian high school) and Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences. He has two wonderful children, Kristie and Michael. Gregg is one of those people that can just look at you and make you laugh!

Ariel McLeggon - Production Assistant While in college, Ariel spent time in Europe as a radio producer for Adventist World Radio (AWR). She is a recent college graduate and hopes to become either a journalist or an immigration lawyer. When she's not working, some of her favorite pastimes include writing, penpalling, emailing, traveling and playing instruments, especially guitar. Other future aspirations include singing solos in 6pt harmony and figureskating on the sea of glass!
