•  It was a typical busy workday. I’m driving along, minding my own business, when suddenly - a car pulls out from a side road right in front of me. With less than 10 feet to brake, I slam into the side of the car at 40 miles an hour and the hood of my little Honda Civic folds up right to the cabin like an accordion. With no air bag, my head feels like it will come off at the shoulders and fly through the windshield. Instead, it swings wildly down from the steering wheel, and chin meets chest with full force. The moments that follow seem like an eternity, as I realize I’m not dead -- and I’m thankful. But, the journey of chronic pain will last 10 years until God sends a profoundly simple answer.
