Dynamic Devotional Lives
Spending time with God every day. We all know we should do it, but, for many Christian young adults, devotional time is one of the first things that suffers with a busy schedule. Why is that? Maybe we don't see the need. Maybe devotional time doesn't do much for you. Or perhaps no one has ever told HOW to do it. We have plenty of preconceived ideas of what devotionals should be, but, when it comes to a personal relationship with God, one size doesn't fit all. Let's examine the basics of a dynamic devotional life, and get back on track to a more engaging personal relationship with God.

Nothing inspires more feelings of discomfort and dread than the subject of death and dying. It is a subject steeped with mystery and rituals no matter what part of the world you come from. Simply put, it is truly the last remaining staunching ingrained taboo.

Dating Above the Hormones
In this culture of greater knowledge and supposed enlightenment, popular dating methods have produced obvious and unfortunate results. Divorces, single-parent homes, and sexually-transmitted diseases litter the highways of modern life. Even those who reject the Bible would have to agree that our sex-crazed generation bought itself a ticket aboard a run-away train. Is it possible that “old-fashioned” principles could actually offer healthy dating solutions?

Intentional Friendships
In Matthew 5, Jesus compares us to the "Salt and Light" of the earth. He commissions us to go and be an example, a witness the those around us. How do we put that commission into action? If we want to be serious Christians, we need to be serious about spreading the gospel. If you have dismissed that responsibility as "something that is not your spiritual gift" then listen and learn how to make intentional friendships and get serious about how to become "Salt and Light".

Discover Your Purpose
Have you ever asked yourself, "Why am I here? What is my life about? What's the point?" The questions may not be obvious. They may come in the form of restlessness, feelings of emptiness or dissatisfaction with your life's direction. These are often signs that our heart gives us, that we have a purpose, but we are not living it.
